The King of Pop died yesterday afternoon
This news is too big ta ignore. We lost a huge pop icon yesterday. It was Michael Jackson. He lost his life yesterday at his pad in Cali at the young age of 50. I can remember hearin' some of his music growin' up. I also got a couple parodies of his songs that are part of my collection of Weird Al tunes. He set the bar fo' pop music. He really blew up in the 80's. I know he did some whack stuff but a lot of people will remember him fo' his music that he produced. I don't own any of his material but I've still heard enough of his tunes ta appreciate the legacy that he's leavin' behind. I've got work today at Little Caesars. It's a shift from 2 ta 6. Fo' this shift, I'll be gettin' my shake on. That's right, it's another shaker shift. I'll be oilin' up my exposed skin again wit some sunscreen. Yesterday, I got my hours fo' next week. I'll be workin' Sunday and Thursday thru Saturday. They're all 4 ta 7. That means I'll be comin' in an hour early fo' each shift. Since I'm workin' next Saturday, I'll be workin' on the Fourth of July again. I don't mind though. RIP, MJ. U will be missed. It won't be the same ta not hear about u in the media. He's gettin' plenty of coverage right now about his death. May he live on in the lyrics of his songs. That's all I'm havin' on this post. I'll be crankin' out another post tomorra. Skillz has left this e-journal fo' the day.
